Job Overview
The interventionist works with students in grades 6-8 to facilitate review
remediation lessons in the core subject areas (Mathematics)
Roles and Responsibilities
The interventionist works in conjunction with the classroom teacher to develop
learning experiences that promote mastery of identified deficit skills. Additionally,
the candidate should be comfortable using a variety of educational technology
tools and applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s Degree is preferred
- Hold or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia; Teaching endorsement in Elementary Education preferred
- Ability to relate to children, teachers, and other school staff
