Job Overview

LCPS BEAM Summer Math Discovery is a program for middle school students run during the summer out of the Academies of Loudoun. This role involves providing instructional support to middle school students under the guidance of an LCPS BEAM teacher.  Teacher Assistants play a key role in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for students. Teacher Assistants are enthusiastic about mathematics and skilled at building positive connections with students. Experienced individuals in this role will actively engage students both socially and mathematically, inspiring a love for learning and discovery.

Qualifications

Below are the minimum qualifications for this job. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.

 

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Salary: Banded Rate, Band 3,  $16.51/hourly

Months/Days/Hours: This is a part-time, non-benefited, hourly position. No guarantee of minimum hours.

Reports To: Supervisor, Math Office
