Job Overview
The part-time clerical will work with the Instructional Technology Office to provide record-keeping, data entry, and clerical support for the program. The work encompasses a range of activities, including supporting tier 1 technical troubleshooting, producing program materials, and supporting events.
Roles and Responsibilities
The following information is intended to describe the overall nature and scope of the work being performed in relation to the position. This is not a comprehensive listing of all responsibilities or tasks; other work may be assigned when deemed appropriate:
- Use basic word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry
- Respond to requests for information from LCPS staff members
- Provide first-level support of users experiencing issues with software products
- Assist users with resolving basic issues
- Escalate technical issues to appropriate teams or vendor support
- Prepare a variety of routine correspondence, program information, and other related paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain office files and records for ongoing tech support issues
- Support professional learning events and other meetings
Qualifications
Below are the qualifications for this position:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures; knowledge of MS Office Software and Google Suite
- Experience with basic troubleshooting processes and customer support
- Ability to perform office work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively
- Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others
